The big news this month is that hosting fees on Vast have been removed. Previously, a hosting fee was deducted from host earnings before payout, but it has now been replaced with a more flexible internal surcharge model. For renters, nothing will change.
For hosts, since there's no longer a hosting fee, you won't have to mentally deduct that amount from your earnings or adjust your prices to cover it. Moving forward, the prices hosts set will be the prices they earn. (And if you're a host using the CLI to adjust prices automatically, you'll want to modify your code to reflect the change in pricing semantics if you haven't done so already.) Your net earnings will not be affected by this update.
