About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing mockups for our web GUI, as well as conducting user testing to ensure a seamless user experience. You will work closely with our development team to bring your designs to life, and your deep understanding of typical design methods will be crucial in guiding the design process from concept to implementation.

Example Projects:

• Developing a prototype for a mobile-responsive version of the Vast.ai web platform, ensuring a seamless experience across different devices.
• Designing a set of onboarding screens for new users, guiding them through the process of setting up their first GPU rental and providing helpful tips.
• Overhauling the platform's page layout to improve organization and accessibility, with clear categorization and intuitive controls.
• Creating a series of custom icons and illustrations to enhance the visual appeal and brand identity of the Vast.ai platform.

Responsibilities:

• Design mockups and prototypes for various parts of the web GUI, ensuring a cohesive and user-friendly experience.
• Conduct user testing and gather feedback to inform design decisions and improvements.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure designs are accurately implemented.
• Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and best practices.
• Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across the platform.
• Understand and incorporate user needs, technical constraints, and business objectives into the design process.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Product Designer or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing your design skills.
• Strong proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
• Experience conducting user testing and research.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
